Sometimes I feel like I just fail at life.
I need to get this gallbladder surgery but everytime I go to call them or DO call them I end up sounding like a complete idiot who has no idea who to call, what to ask, etc because I DON’T.
usually just goes “Um…I need my gallbladder removed….yep”
then insurance. oh gawd don’t even get me started on insurance.
Has anyone else gone through the process of getting theirs removed?
What method did you use?
Has anyone gotten it removed by the Da Vinci machine?
Just feeling so hopeless in this endeavorr
Sometimes I feel like I just fail at life.
700 may not sound like a lot to some people, but starting out from 0 and working my way to 700 likes, only 300 away from my goal of 1,000 likes on Facebook fan page is a big achievement for me!
Help me reach 1,000 likes on our SPOONFUL OF CATS FACEBOOK FAN PAGE and I’ll celebrate by raffling a “Spoonful of Cats” raffle basket of Deliciously Cute proportions!
You can help us reach our goal by reblogging this post, tweeting about liking Spoonful of Cats FB fanpage, and telling your friends!
Cheers and thank you to everyone for helping me reach 700 likes! You guys help new work and products be created and move forward to bigger, cooler plans for the future!
Here’s a little sneak peak at some of the images I’m working on for my Patreon page! I had my sister whose also my assistant/helper with everything spoonful of cats later and she suggested explaining everything in a COMIC.
A comic is my first goal that I want to reach. That is the point I would like to reach so it seems only fitting to explain things via comic, however I feel this might detur people from reading since the page so I’m exploring other options as well.
I’d love to hear what you guys think. If you have any questions or comments feel free to send them my way!
TODAY IS TMI TUESDAY AFTER ALL ;D
I’m going to pax east for the first time! I’m super excited! I’m going to bring my dorky business cards and hope I’m not too shy to hand them out.
Mainly looking to play new games, visit friends running tables for the studios they work at, and just meet/chat with a lot of great people!
I’ll be at pax tomorrow!
To my new friends and followers:
DayEnding is my character design/concept art blog that’s non related to my Spoonful of Cats work :)
I realized I forgot to share this! This is a new print I’ve had in the works that’ll be featuring Neo catcone and Neo sandwich cats!
It’s a hard life being a cat made out of icecream..
- lokimasterofmischief reblogged this from spoonfulofcats and added:
Hello! Newt Cosplayer here! I loved your booth so much, I currently have the cat pins pinned to the cork board next to…
Awww! Thanks so much!! That makes me happy to hear!
- sonicheroes said: Oh jeez are you doing OK now? I’m sorry about this happening to you D:
I will need to get surgery to remove it. I’m glad that I’ve tried other options but it looks like surgery is the only solution now.
Photos from Tekkoshocon!
I wish I got more but time always escapes me!!
I caught some really cool silhouetted photos on my way out Saturday evening, after the artist alley closed.
Some of my favorite cosplayers that stopped by my table(there’s a few on my ipad I have yet to upload as well).
The girl in the lolita dress bought a rainbow cat ring which went perfectly with her tea cat lolita dress. She matched perfectly with the spoonful of cat theme <3!
Ni no kuni and Howl’s moving castle cosplayers. They seemed a bit tired but were nice enough to let me steal a quick photo of them :)
and some of shots of the city as the sun was setting. There’s some buildings I couldn’t help but loooove the architecture and design of. Pittsburgh definitely has some nice architecture hidden between it’s skyscrapers and I only got photos of a few..
I wanted to give a big warm welcome to all my new friends and followers! I’m currently at the airport waiting for my flight back to boston so once I’ve gotten home and settled I’ll have a proper update on my adventures and how the convention went :)!
But welcome all you lovely amazing people, especially those from tekko!
…sounds about right…time to get loopy on drugs u_u
I need to switch hospitals tomorrow and get stuff scheduled to get this sucker removed. I’ve been putting it off for way too long.
Just wanted to give a warm welcome to all my new followers!
Jeebus 299 followers!! Sipping my coffee in disbelief right now! When we hit 300 I gotta make a super dorky cute drawing to celebrate O^O!
In other news. I’m considering starting a Patreon. For those who don’t know what it is you can check it out here: http://www.patreon.com
First I need to plan out what to do so..
I really want to know what it is from my followers/fans/friends etc that you’d love to see every week/month!
Here’s some basic ideas
-monthly raffle baskets
-Q&A videos(how to, tutorials)
-monthly commission sketch(limited to certain # of people since I can only draw so much in a month while doing artist alley tables)
-monthly print mailed out
I’ve really been wanting to develop Spoonful of Cats further visually. I’d like to share the world that I’ve been envisioning by webcomic and animation but to do that cost time which cost money. Someone mentioned patreon a little while back and I thought it was a neat idea that’d I’d like to try out :)
It’s not going to happen in the next couple of weeks or anytime drastically soon since I like to plan out these sorts of things so that I’m prepared for the responsibilities and work that will follow.
So hearing from you guys would really help me create a patreon project that everyone would enjoy and get something out of it.
So please let me know what you think! :)
A compilation of photos preparing for the con, during the convention.
1) prepping charms for the convention
2) my rainbow cat shoes I custom painted
3-4) an awesome cosplayers from pacific rim! I geek out a little..the tattoo sleeves were really cool
5-6) one of my favorite commissions I drew at anime boston. A request for Jack Frost in a winter soldier type armor and queen Elsa.
6-7) photos of me with a hayao Miyazaki cosplayers! I thought this was super amusing, and he actually really resembled him!
8) shimi invading personal space..sitting on my friends pizza box lid while she was eating.
9) cute little signs I made when for when my friends came over to stay At our apartment.
I’m still recovering from the convention and catching up on sleep, but I wanted to pop in to give a huge thank you for everyone that stopped by this year!
I was super ecstatic about how much everyone loved the pillows! I still need to sew one up to put on my own bed, hehe.
I’ll be making an updated post later tonight!
Check out the new website now, and don’t forget to pre-register.
You’re too sweet!! ^__^
Animaine is getting a little cut this year!
Attack on Titan Buttons are finished for the characters….I will save the TITAN buttons for tomorrow..I finished Annie..cause she’s my favorite. girl power..y’know?
Lots to do tomorrow before my friends from AA&A Artistries arrive at my place for Anime Boston <3
I’m excited to introduce them to all of MY crazy friends now~!
I think I’ll be heading to sleep for now. I’ve learned to not to let the stress of conventions get to me and force myself to rush stuff so much.
The mindset “I’ll get done as much as I can, while getting adequate sleep” has helped me maintain my health and sanity. Also repeating to myself “whatever I get done is what I get done” and telling myself “it’s OK” is a good way of staying positive when you don’t get as much done as you intended(which I think for most artists is…everything we can imagine)
I’m so much happier and content at conventions! Although I may only be making 1 new print which will also be Spoonful of Cats related, I have a lot of new products I’m really excited about that I didn’t think I’d have ready by this year.
I’ll post wips once all the buttons are finished and packaged ;D
